11Dominion Hill

Welcome to our unique 4-Star property

Our Country Inn has a variety of accommodations, lots of amenities, good food, and a passion for warm and friendly service.  Located on a tidal basin with a waterfall, Dominion Hill is an historic estate developed by the publishing family that created The Saturday Evening Post and Ladies’ Home Journal.  The property was completely renovated 3 years ago, and has become a favorite for travelers, weddings, families, and visitors from throughout New Brunswick in search of rest and relaxation amid nature’s beauty.

Dominion Hill has a lot to offer. Soak in a hot tub, sit around a fire, play lawn games with the kids, enjoy a fabulous lobster roll and a bottle of wine, or just curl up in a chair with a book from our library. And when you are ready to explore, there is whale watching, hiking, Ministers Island, the Chocolate Museum, the Huntsman Aquarium, shops in St. Andrews and so much more waiting for you.

Dominion Hill is located near Route 1, the main highway running from the Maine border along the New Brunswick coast. We offer rooms, suites, cottages and glamping sites.  Breakfast is complimentary for our guests, and dinner & bar service is available at other times.  There are lawns, gardens and walking trails, and your friendly pets are always welcome.

Close to St. Andrews and coastal adventures

Dominion Hill Country Inn is on a tidal basin with a waterfall, close to the quaint towns, adventures, and attractions that have made St. Andrews and this region a # 1 east coast destination for national and international travelers.  St. Andrews by-the-Sea, St. Stephen and St. George are but a short drive. Whale watching, kayaking, hiking, antique stores, bird watching, fishing, restaurants and pubs, and covered bridges are all less than 20 minutes away. Warm hospitality and pet friendly hotel accommodations are waiting for you.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. There’s a clever mix of old and new to be found here…but no shortage of warmth and hospitality! … The place has a restorative quality to it and you feel right at ease. … I’ll be back for certain! FIVE STARS!!!

Dominion Hill is very convenient to the seaport town of St. Andrews (a short, scenic drive). If we are ever back in this area, we will stay here again….and for a longer time.

  • This place is lovely spot for those looking to relax and unwind in a charming and comfortable location. While it looked really nice in the pictures, it looks even better in person.
