Dominion Hill
Clean It Right

Welcome to our unique 4-Star property

Our Country Inn has a variety of accommodations, lots of amenities, good food, and a passion for warm and friendly service.  Located on a tidal basin with a waterfall, Dominion Hill is an historic estate developed by the publishing family that created The Saturday Evening Post and Ladies’ Home Journal.  The property was completely renovated 5 years ago, and has become a favorite for travelers, weddings, families, and visitors from throughout Canada, the United States, and many other countries in search of rest and relaxation amid nature’s beauty.

Dominion Hill has a lot to offer. Soak in a hot tub, sit around a fire, play lawn & board games with the kids, enjoy  a bottle of wine, or just curl up in a chair with a book and relax. And when you are ready to explore, there is whale watching, hiking, Ministers Island, the Chocolate Museum, the Huntsman Aquarium, Kingsbrae Gardens, shops in St. Andrews, and so much more waiting for you.

Dominion Hill is located near Route 1, the main highway running from the Maine border along the New Brunswick coast. We offer rooms, suites, cottages and glamping sites.  Breakfast is complimentary for our guests, and bar service is available.  There are lawns, gardens and walking trails, and your friendly pets are always welcome.

  • Favorite stop on our travels. Beautiful, historic home impeccably updated. Peaceful spa hot tub on the grounds. Delicious and healthy offerings for continental breakfast. Highly recommend this spot.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. There’s a clever mix of old and new to be found here…but no shortage of warmth and hospitality! … The place has a restorative quality to it and you feel right at ease. … I’ll be back for certain! FIVE STARS!!!

Dominion Hill is very convenient to the seaport town of St. Andrews (a short, scenic drive). If we are ever back in this area, we will stay here again….and for a longer time.

  • What a fantastic find for our last stop on a two week family road trip in Atlantic Canada. Must say this was our favorite stop – Loved the character of the buildings and grounds.

  • This place is lovely spot for those looking to relax and unwind in a charming and comfortable location. While it looked really nice in the pictures, it looks even better in person.
