Weddings should be among the most special moments in life, and our wedding venue near St. Andrews, New Brunswick was built to capture the romance of your special day. Craftsman recently spent more than a year transforming our century-old stable into a wedding barn for ceremonies and receptions. The year-round wedding venue is finished in warm wood, with a unique balcony that creates an intimate setting for 100 guests seated, or 130 standing.
Extensive landscaping has created outside areas for wedding ceremonies, parties and photography. There are parking and hotel accommodations available for the wedding party and guests. Very importantly, Dominion Hill staff will help you customize the wedding reception and ceremony to meet your expectations

The Venue
We would like to congratulate you on your recent engagement and invite you to celebrate your wedding within our historic barn.
Once a working barn on the estate, our beautifully restored barn has been thoughtfully renovated into a warm and inviting venue for weddings and celebrations. Exposed beams, high ceilings, and rustic charm blend seamlessly with modern amenities to create a timeless space filled with character. Surrounded by rolling countryside, the barn offers an atmosphere that is perfect for couples who want to celebrate their day in a setting that feels authentic, historic, and unforgettable.

For winter weddings or rainy days, our historic barn transforms into a warm and romantic indoor ceremony location, filled with rustic charm and timeless character. Whether outdoors beneath the open sky or inside the barn’s inviting embrace, your ceremony will be memorable, intimate, and uniquely yours.

Does your catering accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Yes! With advance notice, our team is happy to accommodate dietary needs and allergies to the best of our ability.
Do you allow outside catering?
No. Outside catering is not permitted, as our in-house culinary team is delighted to handle all of your food needs. Special exceptions may be made for desserts such as wedding cakes or candy bars.
Do you have vendor recommendations (hair and makeup, photography, officiants, etc.)?
We do! We’ve curated a list of trusted vendors who have worked with us before, and we’d be happy to share it to help make your planning easier.
Are there on-site accommodations?
Yes. We can host up to ~50 guests overnight in the spring and fall, and up to ~28 guests during the winter months.
What parking is available?
Guests staying overnight may park on-site. Additional overflow and street parking are available for other guests.
We also encourage ride sharing whenever possible.
Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
Absolutely! We joyfully welcome and celebrate all love, and would be honoured to host your wedding at Dominion Hill.
How many guests can the barn accommodate?
We can comfortably seat up to 100 guests for a seated dinner, or host up to 140 guests for a standing cocktail-style reception.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our barn venue is wheelchair accessible. Please note that not all overnight accommodations are wheelchair accessible.
Are there getting-ready rooms available?
We don’t have a designated “getting ready” suite, but many of our guest suites are perfect for bridal parties preparing for the day. We encourage couples to book these for their stay.
Will we have exclusive use of the venue?
This depends on the wedding package you select. Please contact us for details about exclusivity options.
What is the backup plan for bad weather?
Our ceremony site is outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, your ceremony will be moved inside the barn
Can we bring our own alcohol? Is there a corkage fee?
Dominion Hill is a licensed facility, so outside alcohol may not be consumed in the barn, dining room, patio, or other public areas. Guests may enjoy their own alcohol within their private accommodations. If you’d like us to serve a special bottle from your collection on your wedding day, we’re happy to do so for an additional corkage fee
What is your cancellation policy?
Wedding deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 180 days prior to the event: 50% of the total cost is due. Cancellations within 30 days of the event: 100% of the total cost is due. Accommodation cancellations without at least 3 days’ notice will be charged for the first night of the stay.
When is the last date to make changes to our reservation?
Final guest count and menu selections are due 21 days prior to the event. Accommodation requirements must be confirmed 60 days prior to the event
