Dominion Hill partners with new chef and launches catering services

Chef TrentDominion Hill Country Inn has established a partnership with Trent Seeley to expand its restaurant and dining capabilities and launch a catering service in Charlotte County.  The Inn will now offer a wide-range of food service options at its location and also cater off-site dinners and events.

“We are very pleased to partner with Trent Seeley, who has been delighting our guests with creative and mouth-watering meals over the past few months,” stated Michael Campbell, owner of Dominion Hill Country Inn.  “It is our goal to provide excellent cuisine at a moderate price, and Chef Trent delivers on both counts.”  

Dominion Hill Country Inn offers dinner parties in its dining room for groups of 8 or more, meals for meetings, wedding receptions for up to 144 guests, and food service for special events such as Christmas parties and family reunions.  The Manor House dining room, with a beautiful fireplace and Norman Rockwell paintings from The Saturday Evening Post, offers a relaxed settling for couples and friends.  Larger groups can reserve the recently renovated barn that is available year-round. Full bar service is available.

The off-site catering is available for any type of function.  Chef Trent provides a broad selection of menu options that include traditional roast beef or turkey dinners, exotic dishes from Asian, Down East seafood, and fun barbeques.  The catering services can include furniture, dishes, linens, decorations and bar services.

Chef Trent Seeley is a life-long resident of Charlotte County who has been cooking great meals for more than 20 years.  He has a degree in Culinary Arts, and is passionate about good food. Chef Trent’s experience ranges from fine dining to managing institutional cafeterias.  He loves a challenge, and is always searching for new and better recipes and the best produce, meats and fish for his kitchen.

Dominion Hill Country Inn is a century-old estate that was recently renovated.  It has accommodation in a variety of rooms, suites, cottages and glamping sites.  The 144-seat barn was recently expanded and can be used year-round for weddings, meetings and other special events.  The Inn hosts concerts, dinner theatre, Christmas parties, fundraising and other special attractions. The amenities include a wellness centre, yoga studio, massage, hot tub, fire pit, hiking trails, a library and outdoor patio.
