Many staff positions at Dominion Hill can be structured as full or part-time. We are interested in hiring people with a passion for hospitality and excellent service. For the right candidates, we will be as flexible as possible. While our greatest needs are May – October, Dominion Hill operates year-round.
Hotel Seasonal Position
Dominion Hill has a summer position, June-September, for a staff person who will live at the Inn. (The position could become year-round). Responsibilities will be “on call” if guests need assistance at night (very rare) combined with other tasks that match the candidates interests and skills — administration, maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen, etc. Flexible hours, full room and board provided. Kitchen and Catering positions
The kitchen at Dominion Hill is a busy place, serving weddings, parties and special events. We need more staff with various levels of experience (restaurant work is not a prerequisite). Shifts are flexible and most positions are part-time — with full-time potential for the right candidates. Internships can be arranged with our Red Seal Chef. Housekeeping
Weekday and weekend housekeepers are required on a seasonal and year-round basis. We consider these positions critical to our mission and reputation. A strong work ethic, a bit of OCD about cleanliness, and a strong team spirit are essential staff qualities. Some gardening responsibilities can be added if a candidate is interested.
